We've read in the Holy Bible about GOD ordaining folks and I've, for the most part, associated that with the ordination of righteous people. But what about false teachers also being ordained by GOD?
Also, we've all likely heard (in the church buildings systems) of folks being ordained as pastors, bishops, etc.

Tomorrow, using the Bible, I'm going to study out the word ordained . . . Tonight I did a bit of reading and was led to 1 Peter 2:8 - KJV. Capital letters mine -- It says about the disobedient, "And a stone of stumbling, and a ROCK OF OFFENCE, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were APPOINTED."
In the Tyndale Bible (1536) it says, " . . .A ROCKE TO OFFENDE THEM . . . THEY WERE SET."
In the Geneva Bible (1560) it says, " . . .A ROCKE OF OFFENCE, . . . THEY WERE EUEN ORDEINED."
Note: Ref: The Tyndale and Geneva Bibles -- Spellings are NOT misspellings. That's how the words appear in those Bibles.

I looked up ordained in the Zondervan Bible Dictionary. It says:
- to set in order, arrange
- to bring into being
- to decree
- to set apart for an office or duty
I ask, does GOD ordain false teachers as well as righteous ones?
In the above scripture citations, it says that the disobedient are appointed (KJV) -- set (Tyndale) -- ordeined -- Geneva. Hmmm.
