This blog was created on Saturday March 22, 2014, and is geared to folks whose steadfast aim is freedom through learning, teaching and DOING truth. Incorrect beliefs can prevent constructive forward motions. We cannot afford to allow ignorance, pride and stubbornness to keep us deceived.

Refuse to be prisoners of your perceptions. Cast away nonsense traditions. Freedom resides in authentic and proven truths.

REAL truth is freedom!

Only GOD is perfect. It's vital to seek the Lord to expose errors. Please ask Him to expose any areas of darkness and for what is necessary to DO to dispossess what's NOT of truth.

Revelation

Hi -

Many folks question how Christ dwellers can abide in the Lord without undue dependence on Bible content or people.  Many wonder how Christ dwellers regularly read the Bible yet don’t worship it. Christ dwellers worship God/Jesus/Holy Spirit -- not the Bible or people.

###

Bibliolatry (from the Greek, biblion, "book," + latria, "worship") is the practice, within Christianity, of worshipping the Bible in the place of God. (Source: RationalWiki)

###

Genesis 1:1 - KJV says, “In the beginning God”   -- not in the beginning, the Bible.  John 1:1 - KJV says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

Jesus Christ is the Word of God.  The Holy Spirit is a witness, teacher, comforter and more.

Revelation from GOD is how Christ dwellers and some others KNOW.  Certainly, He uses Bible content to teach, but without revelation and choices to walk in truth with GOD -- what exists are words -- without GOD’s SPIRIT.   GOD uses an assortment of ways to reveal what He deems people need to know.  He uses a variation of resources, including the Bible and people.

Revelation is key.

Scriptures below, from the King James Bible, express more about revelation knowledge provided by the Lord.

Galatians 2:2
And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach . . .

Galatians 1:12
For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Galatians 1:16
To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

Ephesians 1:17
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Matthew 16:17
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, by my Father which is in heaven.

Romans 8:18
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

1 Corinthians 2:10
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

1 Peter 4:13
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

1 Peter 5:1
The Elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed.

Luke 2:26
And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, . . .
