Lee shares truths about the errors relative to the popular teaching
about tithing. There is NOTHING in the Holy Bible that mandates tithing
MONEY. There is biblical mention of tithing OTHER THAN MONEY.
There is frequent mention of Malachi 3:10 about
bringing tithes into the storehouse. It's incorrect teaching that that
means bringing tithe money to church buildings. Really, how can church
buildings be storehouses? What are they storing? It is error that has
long been taught.
Malachi 3:10
Bring
ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine
house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not
open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there
shall not be room enough to receive it.
I emphasize, " . . .that there shall not be room enough to receive it."
My question is if that is true, then why are so many Christian tithers living paycheck to paycheck . . .?
Some
who teach errors about monetary tithing are sincere, but sincerely
wrong; others who teach it in error do so -- DELIBERATELY -- to continue
to fatten their pockets and to further their flesh agendas. This is
notice -- ON THE RECORD -- that GOD SHALL judge those who continue to
DELIBERATELY teach false doctrine about tithing or anything else that is
contrary to sound doctrine. Such people have provoked GOD to anger.
Isaiah 1:4
Ah
sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers,
children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have
provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

No,
it's NOT wrong to give a tithe of MONEY. What is wrong is to teach
that GOD mandates such to be done. Man -- NOT GOD has made it
MAN--DATORY. Some folks VOLUNTARILY tithe money. Some give more and
some give less. The Holy Spirit is to govern how Christ-dwelling folks
give.
