Scriptures are from the King James Holy Bible.
Hebrews 13:2
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Judges 13:3
And the angel of the Lord appeared unto the
woman, . . .
Judges 13:6
Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came
unto me, and his countenance was like the countenance of an angel of
God, . . .
Genesis 19:3 tells that angels ate.
My question is can God's angels be mistaken to be flesh and blood men?
Hebrews 13:2 does say that some entertained angels unawares. So
doesn't that mean that folks mistook them for men?
Also, if
that can happen relative to God's angels, can it be that we mistake
Satan's angels for flesh and blood men? For instance, Joe Blow appears
to Christ-dwelling Christians as a flesh and blood man but in truth --
Joe Blow is Satan's angel . . . and we engage with said Satan's angel --
unaware that he is that -- rather than a flesh and blood man?
In our day to day journeys, could it be that we've encountered Satan's
angels doing "routine" tasks and maybe even at family barbeques, in the
workplaces, in our neighborhoods, at the malls, etc. -- and we're
believing that they're flesh and blood men -- when they're not?
