Freedom Journey

This blog was created on Saturday March 22, 2014, and is geared to folks whose steadfast aim is freedom through learning, teaching and DOING truth. Incorrect beliefs can prevent constructive forward motions. We cannot afford to allow ignorance, pride and stubbornness to keep us deceived.

Refuse to be prisoners of your perceptions. Cast away nonsense traditions. Freedom resides in authentic and proven truths.

REAL truth is freedom!

Transformed by the Love and Power of GOD

Hi -

Many Christians have a love affair with the Holy Bible content rather than a love relationship with the One who inspired it, GOD Almighty.

Knowledge and citings/quotings of numerous scriptures doesn't necessarily prove holiness.  Self-righteousness is real, y'all.  We know this, and impure religious folks are typically self-righteous, and overloaded with scripture citing attitudes.  Yes, Pharisee-mode folks are still on this planet.  Nonetheless, they're to be loved because GOD is love and Christ-dwelling Christians have lifestyles of walking in love and truth.

But so many don't understand the various components of love.  GOD is FULLY love but His love is shown through mercy, forgiveness, longsuffering, rebuke, chatisement, judgments, etc.  You may wonder how I recognize impure religion so well -- because I was once religious but NOT dwelling in God/Jesus/Holy Spirit.  Yep, I had zeal without sufficient knowledge.  Coming out of religious bondage is a process.  Romans 10:2 - KJV, "For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge."

Also, the truth is that all religious folks aren't saved but believe that they are . . .  Sure, GOD can draw religious folks just as he did the apostle Paul who himself was a Pharisee until Jesus met him on the road to Damascus. Acts 22:3 - KJV, "I am verily a man . . . and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day."
Later, Paul became a holy man who had been TRANSFORMED by the love and power of the Lord. Paul went on to author a good portion of the New Testament.

How do we recognize authentically born-again folks? Fruits. Sincerely living the gospel of the kingdom of GOD means TRANSFORMATION.  Such folks increasingly have the mind of Christ and are conformed to His image.

For sure, we're all works in process.  It's essential that we remain teachable.  Resisting wise and reasonable counsel can prove potentially harmful and even dangerous . . .

What are your thoughts about biblioatry and what do you recognize as being impure religion versus PURE religion that is accompanied by fruits of GOD's Spirit?
