Freedom Journey

This blog was created on Saturday March 22, 2014, and is geared to folks whose steadfast aim is freedom through learning, teaching and DOING truth. Incorrect beliefs can prevent constructive forward motions. We cannot afford to allow ignorance, pride and stubbornness to keep us deceived.

Refuse to be prisoners of your perceptions. Cast away nonsense traditions. Freedom resides in authentic and proven truths.

REAL truth is freedom!

Only GOD is perfect. It's vital to seek the Lord to expose errors. Please ask Him to expose any areas of darkness and for what is necessary to DO to dispossess what's NOT of truth.

Strangers and Pilgrims

Hi -

Do we have too much stuff and are we adding to the too much stuff that we already have?  Have we made too many trips to the mall for more shoes, outfits, gadgets, etc.?  Are we clicking too many times online to make more purchases?

This morning in my time with the Lord, I read a piece titled, "The Sojourner" --  the link is shown below.

Excerpts from the subject piece:

"Sojourners tabernacle with God, they follow the cloud.

" . . . Jesus is on the move and those who follow him will never walk in darkness."

###

Of course, being "gypsies" and traveling missionaries isn't GOD's will for all of His children.  And it's sure not sinful to have houses and stable places to be rooted.  But what are heart conditions?  Could it be that the Lord desires that we streamline and simplify our lives?  Could it be that we've allowed assorted clutter, in various forms, to hinder our walks in truth?

Do we have tent pitching mentalities, which give us freedom to move at a moments notice?

1 Peter 2:11 - KJV
Dearly beloved, I beseech you as stranger and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

Matthews 6:21 - KJV
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
